Leave my town if you can’t co-exist with galamseyers – Queen mother tells Abusua farmers

The Queen mother of Abesua has asked some farmers in the area to leave if they cannot co-exist with chanfan operators.
Speaking JoyNews in a phone interview on Joy Super Morning Show Erastus Asare Donkor made it known that some farmers were arrested after demonstrating against the chanfan operators in the area.
“Where I told you the farmers resisted, yesterday, I got information from them that many of them say they are locating from Abesua because the Queenmother of the area according to them held a meeting and told them that if they cannot co-exist with the chanfan operators, they should move from the town”. Erastus narrated
He added that many of the pepper growing farmers have stopped farming and their livelihood have been affected because they cannot farm along the Offin River.
Erastus further revealed that all the farmers across Ghana are now saying it is either you continue to farm with polluted galamsey water, or you quit farming.
